Proposal: We have decided to work on pedagogy for our professional development activity this year, particularly how to incorporate writing instruction/scaffolding into our course(s). They HS teachers obviously have a lot more time for this, so it’s a good conversation to have with them. I also think it’s something that has changed considerably over the last ten to twenty years when it comes to writing in the literature classroom and is something worth thinking through with our course as well.
