Prior to the start of your class, it's important to communicate with students and parents that your class is eligible for enrollment in the College in the High School (CHS) program. Most CHS classes will have a mix of students; those who choose to enroll for college credit and those who do not. Regardless, all students will receive the same content and participate in the same activities and assessments. Why would some students want to enroll and others may not? Go to the College in the High School website at the link below and read Is CHS Right For You? and CHS and Seattle Promise. As you read, think about the questions below. Share the website address with students and parents and ask them to review the same pages.
