Room Changes and Room Scheduling
On a space-available basis, with approval of the Business Office, members of the college community may use vacant rooms for meetings and conferences that are related to North Seattle College departments and programs. Contact the Room Scheduling Office in the Office of Instruction at (206) 934-3702 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday for instructional spaces. Contact the rental coordinator for non-instructional spaces.
Your classroom and lab assignments are scheduled for you through the division. Please do not change either the class hours or designated classrooms without the approval of the division administrator. At times, facilities are heavily utilized, and any arbitrary change is likely to interfere with the classes of other instructors. Maintaining times and locations as they are listed in the class schedule facilitates the work of our security office in case there is an emergency on campus.
Class Changes: Hours and Days
All permanent class changes concerning days, hours, or rooms must be arranged through your unit administrator. If you need to temporarily alter an assigned day, time or location of a class (including virtual classes), see your division staff. If you will meet once or twice somewhere other than the classroom, please let your division staff know where you will be. Sometimes emergencies arise, and the division staff needs to know where you are. Ensure the change meets the needs of all students.
