What To Do After a Bad Tutoring Session

If you have a bad tutoring session where you think the tutor wasn’t listening to your needs, there are several options available.

• You can end the tutoring session and sign-up to see another tutor
• You can talk to one of the coordinators about your experience
• You can talk to the Student Learning Center director about your experience

If you have a bad experience, it is perfectly acceptable to inform a coordinator or the director. However, please make sure you have the tutors name and specific examples to share so that we may incorporate it into tutor training.
